This 'troupe' of Morris Dancers were one of many appearing at Brighton Fringe. As is apparent, these were not your archetypal Morris Dancers with bells and hankies waving. Their set was considerably more aggressive than their jingling comrades waving handkerchiefs. The blackened faces date back to the 1500's and were potentially used for disguise. It looked great fun.
